Happy Fall Everyone! The growing season is coming to a close soon. We will begin getting the gardens ready for the winter months in October. I reach out to you to get an idea of your availability and interest for our Fall All Hands in the Garden. We target Saturday mornings so that those that cannot make it during the week can participate. We will need two Saturday mornings to get the gardens and urns ready for winter. Please let me know if you can make the noted dates below. As in previous years, once I hear from you I will formulate small teams and tasks with focus garden areas. While in the gardens we practice social distancing with masks which we will continue during our All Hands in the Garden events. Since April several members have participated in our early Monday morning maintenance which has been extremely successful. We also had a tremendous team effort watering. This year has been extra challenging in the gardens given the lack of rain. We receive compliments and expressions of appreciation on the gardens and urns every day by members, residents, guests and staff. The gardens are truly exceptional this year. Great TEAM EFFORT during such challenging times! THANK YOU! We will continue with the Turner Hill Garden Club next year should the club be sold to Concert Golf Partners. Our THGC has been not only a great beautification initiative, but also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the grounds and friendships that have been created and growing as a result. Our planned dates and times for All Hands are noted below with more detail to follow in a subsequent email. We will need ALL HANDS for this work effort. Please feel free to extend this invite to anyone you think may be interested. In appreciation the club will provide lunch at 11:45 each day. Please let me know if these dates can work for you.
