Yes, you may have your ceremony on-site for an additional fee of $2,000. This would add a half hour to your rental so that you would still have a 5 hour reception after the ceremony. One hour of rehearsal time is included in the ceremony fee and scheduled based on availability (cannot guarantee a rehearsal the day prior to wedding).
The mansion has beautiful indoor ceremony options in the event of inclement weather.
Turner Hill hosts one wedding per day, which gives you flexibility as to when to schedule the event. The rental period is for a total of five-and-a-half hours with a ceremony on-site and a total of five hours with a ceremony off-site. Outside music must stop at 10pm. All events must conclude by 11pm.
At a 60” round table the maximum is 10 guests.
Our caterer is exclusive. You can hire outside vendors for photography, music, flowers, cakes, etc.
No, Turner Hill provides all alcoholic beverages.
Yes, you will have an opportunity to attend a tasting for a fee set by the caterer.
Yes, a Day of Coordinator is assigned to every wedding to guide vendors and monitor the event.
We do have a single family house on property that can be rented which sleeps up to 10 people. Additionally, there are several hotels in the area.
Yes, we have 2 rooms available for the wedding party to get dressed in and keep their things during the event. Access to these rooms begins 2 hours prior to guest arrival.
We have a lady’s restroom and a men’s restroom inside the mansion. In addition, there is a handicap accessible restroom inside the mansion.
Yes, there is ample parking. No valet, self-parking only.
No, this is an irreplaceable historic venue, these items are not allowed.
Inside the mansion only LED candles may be used. Real candles are allowed inside the tent and only if they are contained in a glass vessel with the flame below the top of the vessel. Floating candles are not allowed.
Smoking is prohibited inside the mansion, tent and restrooms. Guests may smoke cigarettes and/or cigars outside in designated areas.
The tent does not include heat or air conditioning. Heaters may be rented the week of your wedding through your coordinator and tent rental company. The mansion does have heat and air conditioning inside.
You can bring small décor items. If you want to add décor to the tent it must be installed by a florist or insured event installation company. All décor must be removed at the end of the night. It is not possible to leave items at the venue for pick up the following day.
No, we do not have sound systems. This is normally provided by your DJ or Band.
Non-service dogs are only allowed on the grounds for the ceremony and photos. Non-service dogs must be with a handler that they are comfortable with and who is not the couple, and they must leave the property immediately following photos. Service dogs are always permitted.
